Los Dos Toritos

Our favorite place to stop on the way home from Vegas! Their tacos are delicious! Our faves are the birria, cabeza, and pastor. It's just really good, fresh, authentic Mexican food. My husband is Mexican and even my MIL loves their food, so that says a LOT!!

This place has great and tasteful Mexican food. Highly Recommend. It is very small, but it has good selection of food.

Oh YELP you never let me down - thank you.  Traveling between SO CA and Las Vegas and in the middle of nowhere we decided to stop for a quick bite to eat and found this amazing little Mexican restaurant.  You can eat in or carry out and continue on your drive, but whatever you do, check it out.   Two carnitas street tacos (YUM YUM), one quesadilla and carne asada burrito later our crew was happy and on our way.  Prices are VERY fair ($2.69 for a taco) and portions are great.  They even throw in some chips if you ask them.  A nice serve yourself salsa bar with great choices including cucumber and limes.  If I lived closer, I'd come here just for the carnitas taco's.

Get the Carne asada torta. Light, crispy, chewy roll. Delicious meat. Large portion of fries on the side.

This spot gets busy, so the foods are fresh. The downside is that the kitchen can get backed up.

We ordered one torta to split and accidentally were served someone elses order. Staff told us to keep it and brought our sandwich out quickly. We ended up with 3 entrees for about $12.

It's been a while since I've been and since I last ate here. Baker has added new chain restaurants that I rather eat now. But let me tell you when there was nothing here in Baker, this was our spot to stop with the kids. We will order authentic tacos, burritos, pozole, and we could never forget our agua fresca de Horchata. Service was good and the salsa bar was pretty well cleaned and kept. I will have to stop here next time I drive to California.

Really good Mexican food! They cook their own chips and are really friendly. The resturaunt is clean and has nice music always.
The views to outside are really beautiful as well in a barren sort of way. Pull up and enjoy sone great food.

Great Mexican food in a sea of mediocre fast food restaurants.  This is the place to go in Baker.  We enjoyed the sopes, tostadas and tacos.  This place is a short 5 min walk from the Tesla and Electrify America charging stations. We stopped both directions on our drive while the Tesla was charging.  The walk was fine during the day but a bit scary at night in the place where you have to cross a 2 lane bridge with the cars going by fast.  After dark you could always do takeout instead.  The place is very clean and does have a nice ambiance inside.  We will go back!

We had the chorizo and egg burrito, the chile verde burrito wet and a birtia taco.  They have a nice salsa bar with mild medium and hot, lots of pickled onions, radishes and cucumbers and carrots. The food is made to order so it takes a little longer. But it's worth the wait. Great little place that is it good alternative to the usual suspects in Baker California.
